The Colombian Air Force, today commemorates 103 years Flying, Training and Fighting to Win, being part of historical moments for the country, defending national sovereignty, flying high bringing joy and hope to the most remote places of the national geography.
During the 103 years of history, the Air Force has always had all its air resources, including unmanned aircraft, at the service of Colombians, defending airspace, working for the preservation and conservation of natural resources, assistance to natural disasters; in turn, the Air Force has assisted the call of Colombians in aeromedical evacuations, transfer, transport and loading of humanitarian aid and military operations against armed groups outlaw.
All this has been achieved thanks to the honor, courage and commitment of men and women who from different specialties proudly wear the uniform of the Air Force, contributing to the fulfillment of the mission and institutional vision.
In the same way, the Air Force continues to train the crews under the highest quality standards, in charge of flying by the length and breadth of the national territory, it also contributes in science and technology which are the pillar for innovation, which will give the opportunity to reach space, with the launch of the FACSAT-2 satellite into space.
The Casanare Air Group, strategic unit for security in the Colombian east, invites all inhabitants to join this celebration of the 103 years of history of the Colombian Air Force, 103 reasons to continue flying high for the well-being and safety of all Colombians.
