In the course of military operations, a minor was recovered
In military operations, troops of the Specific Command of Norte de Santander, in a coordinated work with the Police and interinstitutional with the Attorney General's Office, managed to dismantle two groups accused of committing crimes such as micro-trafficking in the urban area of Cúcuta and its metropolitan area, who apparently would be part of an urban cell of the GAO ELN; the recovery of a minor was in the same way achieved.
The facts were conducted in two operations. The first took place in the urban area of Cúcuta, where after an intelligence work carried out for several months, the dismantling of the gang called Los del Ocho was reported, who allegedly commit crimes such as selling, dosing and distribution of narcotics in smaller quantities in the municipality of Los Patios and the neighborhoods La Esperanza, Pizarreal, Villa Verde, Kilometer 8 and the La Polvorera sector.
In the second military operation, this time in the Sevilla neighborhood, six individuals were arrested, accused of being members of the group Los Terricolas, who will have to face charges of of trafficking, manufacture and / or carrying narcotics. Among those arrested are the individuals who would respond to the aliases Indio, Mandibula, Lágrima, Cachorro, Magneto and Mamita.
These individuals would apparently be in charge of coordinating the transport of drugs and war material in the Catatumbo region, as well as commercializing narcotics trafficking in the urban area of Cúcuta and towards the border, under the guidelines of the Urban Front Carlos Germán Velazco Villamizar, of the GAO - ELN.
