With aircraft, helicopters and remotely manned aircraft, the Colombian Air Force accompanies Colombian citizens to exercise their constitutional right to vote.
Since previous days, the aircraft of the Air Combat Command No. 5, and Rionegro, Antioquia, supported the 2022 Electoral Activity, with the transport of electoral material, voting board members and municipal delegates of the National Civil Status Registry, to work for the elections for people in hard-to-reach areas, remote rural areas, decisively contributing to democracy.
Overflights have been carried out by the different municipalities in the departments of Antioquia and Chocó department, accompanying from the air those who today fulfill their democratic commitment to the country, monitoring in real time the main roads, strategic assets of the Nation and polling stations, providing tranquility to those who approach the polls.
From the Unified Command post, in the Governorate of Antioquia, the Military and Police Forces in the same way, verify the development of this second round of the presidential elections Colombia 2022.
