Among those apprehended would be alias Felipe, one of the most wanted men in the department of the Department of Chocó.
In the course of a joint and coordinated military operation with the Colombian Navy and the National Police, troops of the National Army, through intelligence work conducted in La Bocana sector, in the rural area of Buenaventura, in the department of Valle del Cauca, arrested alias Felipe and alias Bembo, who were allegedly members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo .
Alias Felipe, is accused of being the ringleader of that GAO and was in the cartel of the most wanted in the department of the Department of Chocó. He was being wanted with a reward of up to 30 million pesos. This individual apparently energized the activities of drug trafficking for that criminal structure, in the same way he would be in charge of extortion, selective assassinations by hit men and served as the current ringleader in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.
The other individual is alias Bembo, who is accused of being the ringleader of the group La Bocana, and would be in charge of extortion, kidnapping, homicide and theft of boats in the Pacific Sea.
In this operation, a submachinegun, 3 magazines, ammunition, a handgun and 4700 grams of cocaine base were in the same way found. The material found and the two arrested were put into custody of the authorities for prosecution. They will be responsible for the crimes of drug trafficking, carrying, trafficking and manufacturing of weapons, ammunition and accessories.
