The Colombian Navy, through the Headquarters of Naval Planning and the Naval Cadet School Almirante Padilla, held the first edition of the International Planning and Logistics Congress: Planning for defense and security and its long-term impact on the country's logistics. An academic event that took place virtually and brought together national and international speakers.
For two days, representatives of the Navies of Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Colombia, as well as experts from universities and national and international institutions, created a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and reflections on the present and the future of the institutions, which will enrich the operation of the Navies who participated in the event and their impact on the domestic logistics.
The topics studied in this congress were related to planning and foresight for defense, public policy and national budget, national logistics and naval logistics.
The Naval Cadet School, within the framework of its continuous improvement processes to guarantee the quality of education and its impact on society, as a naval military training school and university, supports and participates in these environments of management and dissemination of knowledge.
