The General Command of the Military Forces informs:
1. Last 03th June, in response to a call of the community due to vehicle that had counted several hours parked in the sector of Barrio La Esmeralda, the National Police, in carrying out its constitutional mission, conducted the procedure for the review of this car, finding in its interior 4,000 cartridges of war caliber 5.56.
2. According to information from the National Police, it was established that apparently this vehicle is owned by a non-commissioned officer of the National Navy, who is being commissioned to the General Command of the Military Forces and, given the facts, he was put into custody of the Attorney General's Office of the Nation by the National Police.
3. The General Command of the Military Forces proceeded to initiate the corresponding actions that are required in administrative and disciplinary matters.
4. This Command ratifies its commitment of zero tolerance with the action of members of the Military Forces that may be outside the framework of the law and it has absolute collaboration with the authorities.
