In compliance with the Bicentenary plan Heroes de la Libertad, the Joint Task Force for consolidation and stabilization Hercules, in a coordinated operation with the National Police, eight suspected members of the residual organized armed group, Estructura Contadores, were arrested in the municipality of Llorente in the District of Tumaco, Nariño.
The action occurred when units of the Rapid Deployment Force n.2, carried out military control of the area and arrest eight men, apparently members of the residual organized armed group, Estructura Contadores, who were found by troops two pistols with a revolver, three magazines, cartridges of different calibres, communication radios, copies of manuals for rifle use, a bracelet alluding to the Iván Rios front and clothing of the exclusive use of the military forces.
The personnel and materials were put into custody of the authority for their respective prosecution. With this result, the armed component of this criminal organization, responsible for homicides, criminal acts and clashes with other structures of drug trafficking, is harmed.
