In the last few hours, several individuals were arrested by the Military Forces.
In operations carried out with the Colombian Air Force, National Police and Attorney General's office, and units of the thirtieth Brigade, arrested several individuals linked to different illegal structures that commit crimes in Norte de Santander.
The first operation was carried out in the municipality of Corralito, in the municipality of Toledo, where alias Fabián was arrested, apparently ringleader of the residual organized armed group, GAO-r, who was perpetrating the collection of money from extortions to traders. At the time of the search, he was found with two pistols with their respective ammunition.
Simultaneously, in the municipality of Ábrego, four individuals were arrested with two IM-26 grenades, one of those apprehended had an arrest order in force, and apparently, he would be a member of the GAO Eln and would serve as an explosives expert of that criminal organization.
Similarly, in the municipality of El Loro, Finca La Vega of the municipality of Ábrego, another individual was arrested with a revolver and a fragmentation grenade.
Meanwhile, in Ocaña, in the municipality of El Limón, a person was apprehended with a revolver. Meanwhile, in the Galán neighborhood, a man was found carrying 24 40-millimeter cartridges and 15 grams of coca base paste.
In the same way, in the municipality of Los Patios, the authorities arrested a person with 1,010 grams of marijuana, which was put into custody of the authorities for the crime of carrying, trafficking and manufacturing narcotics.
