After a fast and efficient operation carried out jointly conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the Colombian Navy it was possible to intercept a Gofast boat in Playa Barrera, Department of Nariño.
Through an alert issued of the sail of a suspicious boat traveling at high speed, the aircraft of the Colombian Air Force reacted, initiating the search for the boat, when the GoFast was detected, the rapid reaction units of the National Navy conducted the interception of the illegal boat.
In the boat troops found 12 bags carrying 486 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, the destination of the boat is unknown.
In this way, the military forces will continue to carry out joint operations with the purpose of neutralizing drug trafficking networks.
