At this place rich in water, which is part of the Regional Natural Park Sisavita and under all the protocols of biosafety, the Brigade of Comprehensive Action No. 1, accompanied by the municipal government, the Professional Officers of the Reserve, the Infantry Battalion No. 13 of the Thirty Brigade, as well as the personal image consulting group, conducted one of several activities that had been deferred due to the contingency of the COVID-19.
The soldiers of the Army with institutions, provide services, house to house, including veterinary care, and provided school kits to strengthen the education of children and adolescents who have not been able to attend the classrooms; they also carried out an activity for school beautification of the municipality; and talks aimed at its more than 1300 inhabitants, where they met the wide range of services in the framework of the campaign “My Vereda Modelo”, in a program called Faith in Colombia.
This strategy aims to work with the community, institutions and governance, through unified operation to show immediate results. My model hamlet is a strategy that takes the resources of Comprehensive Action, seeking to improve the living conditions of vulnerable inhabitants to consolidate the territory and generate the social, economic and cultural conditions of a region that serves as a model of local development.
