In a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional operation, troops of the Rapid Deployment Force No.1, attached to the Joint Task Force Omega and in coordination with the National Police captured, on the weekend, the alleged member of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 40.
The effective operation, which was carried out in La Julia, in the municipality of Uribe, in the department of Meta, troops of the Rapid Deployment Battalion No.1, in coordination with the National Police and after an important intelligence work, captured a 56-year-old individual, who at that time had 13 Coltar brand magazines for a 5.56 mm rifle.
The detainee and the material were put into custody of the authorities for their respective judicial process, where they must face charges for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of weapons, ammunition of restricted use of the military forces or explosive.
