Bolivar. After more than 24 hours of search for the Sailboat "Challenge", the Coastguard Station of Cartagena received a statement of the Consulate of Spain in Cartagena, which said that the Dutch-flagged sailboat had arrived in the Island Holands Cay, In Panama.
Apparently, in this place there is no telephone signal, which made difficult the communication of the crew with its families, so they reported the captain missing.
When entering into communication with the sister of the captain of the sailboat, who had reported the disappearance, he said that the sailboat was in good conditions and nothing had happened to the two crew members.
The National Navy is grateful to the maritime union that showed solidarity by supporting the search operations for the disappeared sailboat.
