Meta. Thanks to military intelligence, the Armed Forces in a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional work with the Attorney General's Office, it was possible to find an illegal hideout with precursors for the production of cocaine hydrochloride in the village of Laureles, municipality of Puerto Lleras, department of Meta.
The operation that takes place in the framework of the military campaign "Zeus" continues to hit the residual Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in the region, especially against the Seventh Front, headed by alias "Gentil Duarte", which has been significantly damaged so far this year.
The illegal complex that was in the middle of a wooded area of difficult access, contained 22 barrels with approximately 4,295 liters of undetermined liquid substances, 275 kilograms of calcium chloride, 250 kilograms of sodium bisulfite, 280 liters of ammonia, 375 kilograms of caustic soda, 175 liters of hydrochloric acid, 40 gallons of ammonia, four bags of filter paper and multiple elements used for the production of Cocaine Hydrochloride.
