In the course of an operation against the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo in Antioquia, it was possible to arrest three individuals, allegedly belonging to the substructure Uldar Cardona Rueda, in the municipality of Cuturú, municipality of Caucasia.
There, a man who was in the same way a member of this GAO of alias Político, and who intended to carry out terrorist operations against civilians in the Bajo Cauca Antioquia region, died in military operations.
This operation took place thanks to Colombian Air Force aircraft, along with troops of the National Army and was carried out in a coordinated and interagency manner with the National Police and the Attorney General's Office for the indictment of charges and their respective judicial proceedings.
With results like this, the Military and Police Forces reaffirm their commitment to the safety of the inhabitants, decimating the criminal activity of the organized armed groups that commit crimes in this area of the country.
