The operation moved to a rural area of the municipality of Timbiquí, Cauca, where war materials, explosives and computer equipment belonging to this residual organized armed group (GAO-r) were also found.
Through joint efforts, troops of the National Army and the Navy reached the municipality of Boca de Patía, a rural area of the municipality of Timbiquí, Cauca, where they found an illegal tailoring shop that made the material of military accessories with supplies for the exclusive use of the Military Forces. This place would be at the service of the GAO-r Estructura 30 Rafael Aguilera.
In the same house, an area prepared with explosives, which had 50 kilograms of pentolite was found; its purpose was to beat the military personnel who were carrying out operations in this sector. The explosives found were destroyed in controlled conditions.
In this operation were in the same way found 10 sewing machines, a fabric cutter, 750 meters of camouflaged fabric, hammock fabric, velcro, combat boots, sweatshirts and green pixelated divers. All this material would cost more than 38 million pesos. In addition, a laptop computer, a desktop computer and five printers and war supplies and ammunition of different calibres were seized.
At the scene of the events, the troops found a hiding place with approximately a ton of food; in the same way, they found booklets, propaganda alluding to this structure and documentation of importance for military intelligence. The material found was put into custody of the authorities.
