On board rapid reaction units were transported personnel and materials of the Fire Department, in order to arrive in a timely manner to mitigate the spread of fire.
Men and women of the components of the Colombian Navy highly qualified for disaster response, traveled to the site to support the maneuvers with fire equipment including hoses, extinguishers, motor pumps and autonomous breathing equipment, among others.
This fire apparently hit about 7 cabins and a restaurant that are part of Playa Tranquila, at the moment no fatalities are reported. In the same way, authorities will conduct operations to establish the causes of the conflagration.
