Units of the Colombian Navy, in a joint operation with the National Army and the Colombian Air Force, captured an individual who is allegedly a member of the Organized Armed Group ELN in Tame, in the department of Arauca.
Thanks to the intelligence information of the Colombian Navy, troops of the Military Forces moved to a farm in the area of Botalón, municipality of Tame, where the individuals belonging to the Simacota company of the Domingo Lain Zaens front of the ELN, were conducting criminal activities.
During the movement to the place, a firefight occurred between members of the Military Forces and members of the ELN, resulting in the capture of a 52-year-old individual, alleged member of this criminal group.
In the same way, a Pietro Beretta Px4 Storm 9mm pistol was seized along with 25 9mm caliber cartridges, three 9mm magazines, four campaign backpacks, four uniforms of exclusive use of the Police, 10 pixelated t-shirts, 03 bracelets and propaganda alluding to the ELN.
