Two captures and the finding of 42 kilos of coca base paste is the result of the most recent operation against drug trafficking obtained by the Ninth Brigade through the Infantry Battalion No.27 Magdalena, in coordination with units of the Traffic and Transportation Police.
The two people identified as Milvio Robinson Hernández, 46, and Jaime Arley Álvarez, 26, were traveling, from the department of Putumayo, in a Tucson truck with a KEN 917 plate towards Popayán, in the department of Cauca, using the roads of Huila.
It was in the sector of the hamlet Mazamorras, of the municipality of Isnos, where, following the information provided by the Civic Participation Network, soldiers and police made the signal stop and began the search of the vehicle, finding anomalies in the front right fender.
45 packages with approximately 42 kilos of the hallucinogen were found wrapped in Beige adhesive tape, so immediately the two people were captured in flagrance for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and carrying of narcotic drugs.
The individuals, the narcotic and the vehicle were put into custody of the authority for the judicial process.
