In a coordinated operation conducted by troops of the Colombian Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) – Sucre, and units of the National Police, it was possible to capture of nine men and one woman, who were organized to commit the crime of drug trafficking in the department of Sucre.
The operation was carried out in the urban center of the municipality of Sincelejo (Sucre), where members of the Gaula and units of the Judicial Investigation Section - Sijin - of the National Police arrived, who, by means of searches, captured these ten people, who had in their possession 13 cartridges caliber 38 mm and two communications equipment.
The individuals are accused of procession and commercialization of narcotics, in the neighborhoods Camilo Torres, La Selva, El Bongo, Pablo Sexto and Primavera, in the northern part of the municipality of Sincelejo, an activity that they carried out at the service of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) “Clan del Golfo del Golfo".
The ten people were put into custody of the Special Prosecutor's Office 138 of Montería (Córdoba), for their respective prosecution for the aggravated crime of conspiracy for the purpose of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
