The operation was carried out in the village known as Las Perlas, in the municipality of Baraya.
The search and control operations conducted on the northern region of the department of Huila by units of the Artillery Battalion No. 9 “Tenerife”, of the Ninth Brigade, led to find war material that in the past was used by illegal structures in this area of the Department.
Using intelligence information, the military unit managed to find the illegal hideout with 218 cartridges of 5.56 millimeters, eleven metal magazines and a uniform of exclusive use of the Military Forces.
