In the facilities of the Air Combat Command No.1, the first basic course of Electronic War of 2019 was closed. It seeks to generate a constant strengthening of the National Air Defense system.
In this course, Officers and NCOs from different units of the Institution received knowledge about the technological development of the Defense Systems to conduct operations that prevent the enemy from using the airspace, guaranteeing its control.
In order to fulfill this mission, different techniques have been carried out to protect the airspace and its control systems, which have positioned the Colombian Air Force as a regional reference in this area.
The purpose of the Air Defense School is to strengthen the advisory capacity of the officers and non-commissioned officers, to plan and conduct military operations, making use of the technological capabilities that make up the Air Defense of our country.
