Caquetá. After coordinated operations conducted by the National Army and the National Police in the municipality of Cartagena del Chairá, in the department of Caquetá, three individuals were identified as possible responsible for different criminal acts against the good physical condition of social leaders in the municipality of Cartagena del Chaira. They were captured.
The first operation was carried out in rural area of Cartagena del Chairá thanks to a work of urban control that led to find the two individuals, who at the time of capture were on a motorcycle and had in their possession a 9mm caliber pistol with its magazines and 14 cartridges.
In this same municipality, in another operation, Army troops in a coordinated work with the Sijin (Police), achieved the capture of alias "Jhon Tatuaje” belonging to the so called group of law and order and finances of the residual Organized Armed Group structure 62, commanded by alias " El Gato ", responsible for the execution of selective homicides in the municipality of Cartagena del Chaira. Alias "Jhon Tatuaje" would be linked to an attack on last October 25, 2018, where a citizen was seriously injured.
Meanwhile, alias "Jhon Tatuaje" was put into custody of the Attorney General of Puerto Rico, Caquetá, to face charges for his crimes, while the other two captured in Cartagena del Chairá, must face charges for the crime of manufacture, trafficking and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
In this way the troops of the National Army reaffirm their commitment to the community and the social leaders of the Colombian Amazonas region, where thanks to the operations it is possible to find the whereabouts of those responsible for different criminal acts that were being perpetrated in Cartagena del Chairá,
