Units of the National Navy in development of operations of search, control and maritime surveillance, found inside a ship, three sacks containing 118 kilograms of alkaloids, whose crew, when noticing the presence of military personnel, abandoned it in the sector of Bocas de Salahonda, in the municipality of Francisco Pizarro, in the department of Nariño.
The three crewmembers of the boat 'Renacer Los Maca', noting the presence of the Coast Guard units, directed the boat to the nearest beach and fled the place, leaving it abandoned. During the inspection the troops found the sacks with the alkaloid.
The boat and the cache were taken to the facilities of the Tumaco Coast Guard Station, where the judicial authorities, after conducting the Preliminary Identification Test - Piph, confirmed 118 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
