Vichada. Multi mission Heroes of the Eighth Division, of the Support Command of Comprehensive Action and Development and the Active Reserve of the National Army, carried out a Development Support Activity for the inhabitants of the municipality of La Primavera, in the department of Vichada.
The activity was carried out in the facilities of the school 'Víctor Samuel Andrade', thanks to the articulation of the National Army, the Municipal Mayor's Office, the National Police, SENA, the Fluvial Post Nueva Antioquia, the San Juan Hospital and the private companies of the region.
More than 485 people benefited from general medical services and different specialties such as gynecology, dentistry, pediatrics, physiotherapy, ultrasound, oral hygiene, growth and development, family planning, maternal and child care, care for the elderly and medicines distribution and vaccination. In addition, the community enjoyed beauty and hairdressing services.
Soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No. 8 gave the population a space of joy and fun during the activity, in which children and adolescents enjoyed, playful activities, colored balloons and many presents.
Monica Rico, a resident of the municipality and mother of two children treated in the pediatric service, said: "I thank with all my heart the soldiers of the country who come to this place so far to support us with health services. You are in our hearts. "
