Knowing the services of the Military Forces and generating trust and mutual respect, improves security and opens doors to development. - From 2021 to date, 37,000 people have benefited of the activities of the Unified operation Acceleration Plan.
“We are looking for the best men and women to join the Military Forces, we want Colombians to make their career of honor in the Military.” This was the message with which Defense Minister Diego Molano invited young people of the locality of Kennedy to join the Military and Police Forces in activity number 18 of the Unified operation Acceleration Plan, PAAU, in Spanish.
At Dindalito Park in the Bella Vista neighborhood near the Portal Américas, all the institutional services of the PAAU arrived in their activity number 18, led by the Ministry of National Defense.
“With this activity, our Military Forces come together to work and contribute with the people in neighborhoods, villages and municipalities of Colombia, where our men and women fulfill the role of integration with the citizens.”
The call was well received and thousands of people who came to receive the services of general medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, vaccination for children, as well as the local enterprises.
“As an entrepreneur, this is an excellent space to make ourselves known, work to provide our products so that people come and want to take what we bring,” said Gerardine Soto, entrepreneur and beneficiary of the PAAU.
In the midst of this activity, Minister Molano in the same way reminded the neighbors of the sector that they are not alone and that with the new Law of Citizen Security, they can have the peace of mind, that criminals must think twice before committing a crime.
“With this law, recidivists remain in jail, they will no longer leave while their judicial process is ongoing,” Molano said.
The head of the Ministry of Defense in the same way spoken about the accompaniment of the Military Forces to the peaceful demonstration, and was clear in stating that anyone who vandalizes and destroys commits a crime that will be punished.
Finally, the Minister of Defense thanked the work of all the neighbors of the sector to this institutional activity and invited them to meet the Police of their neighborhood and have a relationship of trust, communication and mutual respect.
