As part of military operations aimed at combating the problem of drug trafficking, units of the Twelfth Brigade, on the road that connects the department of Caquetá with the department of Huila

In the village of La Balastra, municipality of Nátaga, west of Huila, the coordinated operation conducted by the Pigoanza Battalion of the Ninth Brigade and the Anti-Narcotics Police countered

The packages were distributed bellow the seats and the trunk of a pickup truck.

The finding was possible, thanks to a chase that lasted approximately 30 minutes.

This result takes place thanks to the operation of the Military Forces against drug trafficking on Route I-24, south of the department.

These military operations are being conducted to protect the inhabitants of the 30 municipalities of the department.

Two Nicaraguans and a Colombian were arrested during the operation. 

Through these results, the Colombian Navy prevented more than 10 million dollars from entering the finances of the drug trafficking organizations that commit crimes in the area.

This illegal merchandise would belong to the Residual Organized Armed Group, Structure 48, Comandos de Frontera.

Through this operation, the commercialization of more than 280 thousand doses of narcotics on the streets of the world was prevented.
